2025 Nc State Employee Raises. The house approved a $31.7 billion budget proposal last week that adds an additional 1% to state employee raises, bringing them to 4%. North carolina state employees and teachers will get raises starting july 2024.

Most state employees would receive an increase of 4.25% this year and 3.25% next year. Because of our union’s power and influence in the legislature, we’re excited to share that the budget has passed, and state members will receive a cola of 6.55% on january 1, 2025.
